The home page is live but no real content yet and most of the links are 404. But my first task once the home page has some stuff on it will be to finish the 404 page.

After that it’s on to seeing how to redesign the way the page is built to create the main landing pages, then I’ll go wild from there.

Even looking to add a penny auction page to the site as things progress. How would you like to pick up a $3500 Les Paul for a few hundred? That’s how the penny sites work, but I have to purchase the script and then the stuff to put on the auction… Gotta help me out to make more money folks! heheh

Thanks to who ever might be watching for this! I know it has been a long time coming, but hopefully this first hurdle was the hardest.

Here she is!

Top-of-the-line features include a rounded composite back like the Ovation guitars, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid Daisy inlays, and D’Addario strings. Other quality features include Grover tuners for rock-solid tuning, a custom Piezo pickup system, 2-band active EQ for a beautiful plugged-in sound, and even a built-in electronic tuner for total convenience!

Now I know this was built for girls, but for a guy who has worked hard enough to have arthritis in his fingers before 40, this scale is a godsend! Of course, I might have to paint it… heh or not!

Anyway, this guitar has some serious tone. I ran it through a Peavey Bandit, one of the older ones with a Sheffield 12 and picked up my old Digitech RP10. I had some sweet tones with just a basic of tweeking, and I am a tone hound!

Then I plugged it in to my bass amp, a ’70s Peavey 400 using the top channel and running through two 15″ Black Widows in a cleaned up upright box.

Now we had some tone! I was playing with decent bluesy grunt while keeping the shimmer at the bridge, then I drop D’ed the poor little thing and went for a chug ride.

You might want a bigger E if you went lower than D, because D is a bit buzzy, but then what guitar doesn’t.

I might get some awesome sounds out of her with a restring and some time playing with a setup, but out of the box this guitar will be perfect for little fingers trying to learn Green Day…

Moseley’s design for the Ventures, known as the “Ventures Model” (later known as the “Mark I”) was generally considered to be the flagship of the line, but all of his guitars bore his unmistakable touch.

Mosrite also produced an unusual double-necked guitar, which was the type favored by Collins and Maphis; this design was also used by Nick Nastos, lead guitar player for Bill Haley & His Comets, during 1968.

Semie Moseley began building guitars in the Los Angeles area around 1952 or 1953. He began by apprenticing at the Rickenbacker factory, where he learned much of his guitar making skills from Roger Rossmeisl, a German immigrant who brought old-world luthier techniques into the modern electric guitar manufacturing process.

One of the recognizable features on almost all Mosrites is the “German Carve” on the top that Moseley learned from Rossmeisl. Around the same time, Moseley apprenticed with Paul Bigsby in Downey, California, the man who made the first modern solid-body guitar for Merle Travis in 1948, and who invented the Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, which is still used today.

Who is John Petrucci?

Well, guitar virtuoso Petrucci is one of the masterminds behind the band DreamTheater and is a frequent player on the Vai-Satriani G-3 tour, along side greats like, Eric Johnson, Yngwie Malmsteen, and many others.

So what makes this guitar so special?

The butterfly is not new to the market but it seems to have garnered some new followers every time a new pop diva tween picks up a guitar.  In my opinion that needs to happen a little more often…

Anyway, this seems to be a well laid out guitar, but don’t expect it to be comfortable sitting down to play.  the short scale and slender neck are perfect for smaller hands though and she might actually play this more of you got her an amp and a distortion pedal…  hint hint.
